Company History

CFS began as Chi Fong Silk Limited Company in 1993. Originally
established as a silk importing company, CFS expanded into the
flooring industry in 2002, with the introduction of it’s brand
Premium Green Bamboo. The company continued to grow and in 2003
and 2004 introduced new lines, including laminate, cork, solid
wood, engineered, and handscraped flooring. In less than 5 years,
CFS has grown to a multi-million dollar corporation, importing
over 1000 containers a year. We are one of the leading importers
of bamboo flooring in the nation, and among the top 25 of importers
of both laminate and hardwood.
CFS attributes this rapid growth to our excellent customer service
and unique ability to stay ahead of market trends in order to bring
quality flooring to our customers at competitive rates. CFS is
owned and operated by Feng and Bin Liu, whose hands on approach to
the company brings a refreshing change in contrast to the typical
Chinese manufacturer. As the company has grown, we have been fortunate
to recruit a dynamic, experienced sales team, headed by our national
sales manager, Rick Carson.
CFS Corporation has two operations centers – our customer operations
center located in Suwanee, Georgia, and our manufacturing operations
center located in Shanghai, China. Our customer service representatives
in Georgia handle your order and all communications with the production
facility from start to finish, leaving you more time to focus on
promoting and developing your business. Our inspectors live at our
manufacturing facilities more than 9 months out of the year. We
employ 2 inspectors per facility, it is their responsibility to
inspect each order before it goes out, and report any problems or
issues to the central office. Each product is inspected no less
than 4 times on and after leaving the production line, making sure
that you get the best quality product at a competitive price.
CFS Manufacturing

A division of Complete Flooring Supply Corporation,
USA.
Introduction

CFS maintains operations in the United States, with the
main office located in Atlanta, Georgia. CFS exports its
prime flooring lines to Europe, Australia and North America.
CFS is an active member of the NWFA (National Wood Flooring
Association) and WFCA (World Floor Covering Association).
Since its inception in 1993, CFS leverages the tremendous
economic advantage of Global trade specifically for its
customers in the flooring industry.
Global Trade

Global trade advantages are not as simple as importing
flooring. Global trade can be broken down into the basic
processes that are described within the next few pages.
CFS's investment and attention to detail with these processes
makes the difference.
Sourcing

The geographical sub regions where the raw materials are
sourced actually make a surprising difference in the end
result of the floor. While not as relevant with laminate
flooring, this does have relevance with any natural flooring
product we manufacture. Relating this concept to Maple
trees that grow in the colder climates of Canada simplifies
this concept. Slower growing trees in colder climates
simply produce a denser product. It is concepts such as
this that CFS understands with our Wood, Bamboo and Cork
floors.
Product Design

A deep understanding of design trends is crucial. In the
United States, CFS dedicates substantial resources, financial
and human, to product and design research, analyzing current
and upcoming color and style trends. Before we bulk manufacture
any product we import a container and test market it in
what we have defined as the 5 differing market places
in the United States. These 5 individual market places
in which we pre test each product and its color before
producing it for mass market are the Pacific Northwest,
the Southwest, the Midwest, the North East and the South
East. This testing process not only ensures our customers
that the colors that are manufactured will sell but it
ensures that we minimize the manufacturing of slow moving
products.
Inspection

Inspection in any manufacturing process in any country
is key to quality. CFS is no exception. Imperfect product
occasionally rolls off our assembly line. The important
difference is we inspect each flooring plank and tile,
remove any flawed ones and put them where they belong,
in the trash. Our inspectors are United States trained.
This enables them to understand what is acceptable as
well as that which is not. It's another investment that
CFS makes in themselves, their product and their customers.
Importing, Distributing

The final step in the process is the transportation and
importation of the product. CFS covers all the details
from customs paperwork to the relationships with ocean
freight companies, flooring is then sold by the container
load, or by pallet quantities out of two locations, California
on the west and Georgia on the East.
Thank you for your interest in CFS. We hope you have enjoyed
